Samoen’s crafty little neighbour keeps visitors returning year after year. Home of Antoine Deneriaz, the 2006 Olympic Downhill Gold Medallist, this town loves it’s skiing and has easy access to the Grand Massif from the telecabine in the centre of town. From here, it’s up to the ski station at Morillon 1100, where you can access a ski area, which has some of the best cruising runs the Grand Massif has to offer. Mixed ability groups can all start from the top of the ski station together; those relatively new to skiing can then take the gracious green ‘Marvel‘ piste, which sweeps through the trees. They can rendez-vous in same spot as their more experienced friends who have opted for more challenging descents. When conditions are good, everyone can enjoy a terrific homeward run back to the centre of town.

Summer is Family Fun-Time around Lac Bleu. Enjoy a dip in the crystal clear water, traverse the zip lines of the tree adventure park, or take a horse ride along the riverbank. Take the lift up from Morillon 1100 to discover the best and least crowded biking trails the Western Alps has to offer.
