Want to work in the Mountains this winter?
Perhaps you are looking for a career break/sabbatical or just want a stepping
stone to help you fulfill a dream move of living and working in the French Alps.
We are looking for a small number of reliable, personable and resourceful
individuals (or couples). You will be driving clients safely and comfortably to
and from Geneva Airport and resorts around the wonderful Grand Massif ski area.
There will be occasions where you will be required to drive late at night or
early in the morning, sometimes in challenging alpine conditions.
Duties include liaising with the office and other drivers, greeting clients and
ensuring vehicles are kept clean and tidy. Due to the unpredictable nature of
inbound flights, there may also be times when you will need to have a good book
to read while you wait for clients to arrive.
Requirements:
- Have held a Full driving license for at least 2 years.
- Experience of driving large vehicles an advantage (you will be driving an
8-seater minibus).
- Punctual and 100% reliable
- Posses the ability to plan ahead to allow for road and traffic conditions
- Good memory of places/sense of direction
- Good communications skills and a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Basic mechanical skills – i.e. ability to learn how change wheels or fit snow
chains
- Ability to follow a schedule, and stick to a plan (unless instructed otherwise)
- Previous professional driving experience a great advantage
- Some basic French would be helpful but is not essential
- UK or other European Union country passport holder or be in possession of a
valid French work permit
